INOUE (イノウエ)
NOTE: This article was translated from Japanese
Art inspiration: The casual gestures and expressions of people observed in daily life. Structures such as factories and buildings that are designed without waste.
Style: In Japan, there have traditionally been drawings with contour lines, like ukiyo-e, and I find it interesting that this style is now seen in modern manga. I express my works with a contemporary interpretation of both the sources of inspiration I have received and traditional Japanese methods of expression.
Favourite Artists: katsuhiro Ootomo, Koji Morimoto
Favourite piece you have worked on: All of my works reflect my thoughts and feelings at the time they were created, so I love each and every one of them. View Inoue’s creations here!
