Read more about this series:
‘The fearless girl’, ‘The Power of Silence and ‘’The power of confidence’ are a continuous series of the artist’s inner world.
‘The fearless girl’ was the first chapter created in April 2023 when the artist suffered depression, she felt abandoned and disheartened yet she told herself to be fearless. The picture depicts a girl with complex emotions looking towards audience. The artist reminded herself not to give up in any circumstances.
‘The power of Silence’ was the second stage of her breakdown, the painting was created in July 2023. The artist was going through healing, she focused on herself and chose to be silent. It’s the loudest cry without words. She didn’t want to explain her pain, instead she learnt how to move on.
The power of confidence’ was created in April 2024 during the artist’s residence in Bali. One year after her breakdown, the artist is now bounced back as a stronger woman. She is looking directly at the flying butterfly that represents hope and dream.
From the first to third piece, we can understand more the artist’s inner world and the struggles she went through. From very dark tone in ‘The fearless girl’ to the vibrant colors in ‘The Power of Confidence’, we see the same souls with a different carcass in her self portraits. The artist doesn’t not recognize herself as any particular human being , she transforms into different appearance along her life journey.
