Art inspiration: I have always enjoyed looking at other artists and their works especially when they hold the same nature of works as myself. This means that I have longed adored artists of different races and disciplines naming Roby Dwi, Giorgiko, Mr. S and Blic as some. I have never failed to be mesmerized with things I used to feel undoable and unreachable like creating murals on streets or producing toys, yet these artists allowed me to challenge myself further and push myself to the next level of my creativity.

Style: I think I belong to people who produce works that are termed “Pop-surreal” or “Lowbrow.” I have always enjoyed creating my own characters and expressing experiences through stories elaborated in forms of art. To give further descriptions on my works specifically, it all started with a blue bear I have created and named “Fu” or luck in Chinese. After creating him, I’ve started producing more characters which I form by getting details from animals in the real world. My characters are often described as furry, characters painted with layers and layers of fur and eyes that seem like they are having a conversation with its viewers.

Favourite Artists: I always have a difficult time picking only one favorite. I just know that I do enjoy seeing works of artists of the same nature no matter how big or newly emerging they are just like me. I love talking to co-artists and expressing my full awe with their works, it keeps me energized to keep on doing better and better.

Favourite piece you have worked on: I usually look at the latest piece as my favorite. I am currently working on numerous pieces for my solo show this June 29 in the Philippines which I am so excited to post about. With every piece or show I do, I make sure to challenge myself and my abilities and this is why the most recent painting I’m currently doing is my favorite.

Future plans: I am planning to continuously tap galleries and artists that are not in my country. I love connecting with people and exchanging stories through works of art. Another thing I’m working on are unconventional works that I’m planning to put out this year on my social media accounts and partner galleries and bazaars. Also, I’m continuously training myself in the field of street art, I wanna keep on putting up murals in different locations so that I can share my art with different communities and see how art can make a connection or a bond.
